2014 Board Members
Terri Bernath – President
Hi, my name is Terri Bernath. Iʼve been a member of the Co-op since September 2012. When I moved from the Denver area it was the first organization that I wanted to be a part of. I have spent most of my life living and working in Littleton, CO raising 2 wonderful daughters, Hannah (Denver) and Rachel (Colo. Spgs). They are the lights of my life. I live in Florence and work for the City of Canon City. I heartily support the mission of the Co-op and believe that our connections to healthy food: acquiring it, growing it, preparing it and educating ourselves and each other about it, are some of the most important values that we can have for ourselves and our families. Iʼm happy to be a part of your Board and hope to meet you all in the coming year.
Suzanne Fox – Vice President
Donia Knapp – Treasurer
Hi! I’m Donia Knapp. I have been a Co-op member since its inception. I organized the initial meeting and have been on the Board & Treasurer since the first election in 2008. I am responsible for the emails you receive and play a part in maintaining the website and blog website. I have been active in the Farmers Market, greenhouse work, bulk ordering & buying, workshops & classes, tax preparation, advertising & promotion and maintaining the lending library. My original vision for the Co-op was to have a storefront Food Co-op and Community Garden. Hopefully someday we will grow into that, but for now I am very happy with the progress we’ve made in the education and awareness we bring to the community and all the new friends I’ve made since becoming involved. Donia is Treasurer.
Marvin Carter – Board Member
Life long gardener. One year with the Colorado Master Gardener program. Past board member of the coop. Avid supporter of things renewable, local, and green.
